As a regular Principal Cellist of Paraorchestra, Josh is part of a pioneering ensemble that champions inclusive and accessible music-making. Paraorchestra is dedicated to creating exceptional performances that challenge traditional ideas of orchestral music. Josh’s role in this groundbreaking group allows him to collaborate with like-minded musicians in a creative and supportive environment, contributing to the ensemble’s innovative and inspiring performances.

Josh had the privilege of performing with the renowned City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) as part of the 2024/2025 Career Accelerator Fellowship and since as an extra tutti cellist. Working alongside world-class musicians, he contributed to a range of performances, from classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions, further refining his skills and gaining invaluable experience within one of the UK’s leading orchestras.

As part of the Orpheus Sinfonia Foundation Programme for the 2024/25 season, Josh has performed regularly with the orchestra throughout the year, with repertoire including major works such as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 1, Act III of Wagner’s  Parsifal, and Jessie Montgomery’s Starburst . Following the completion of the Programme, Josh has continued working with the orchestra as an extra, recently performing Handel’s Messiah and at 2025’s Windsor festival .
