The CBSO has played a significant role in Josh’s orchestral journey from an early age. He first joined the CBSO Youth Orchestra in 2014 and also took part in the CBSO Academy summer course. Over the following years, he performed regularly with the Youth Orchestra, eventually leading the cello section as Principal.
Josh’s connection with the CBSO continued to grow, and in 2024 he was selected as a CBSO Career Accelerator Fellow for the 2024/2025 season. Through this prestigious programme, he had the opportunity to learn from one of the world’s leading orchestras, gaining invaluable experience performing a wide range of repertoire as a tutti cellist. Since completing the fellowship, Josh has returned to the orchestra as an extra in the cello section.
